This volunteer position is for Nurturing Minds Northeast Chapter and does not require one to be a board member. The Nurturing Minds Northeast Chapter seeks volunteers who are interested in events such as galas, house parties, working with schools, and the local community to raise funds.

Helps establish organizational direction, secure resources, and provide fiduciary and strategic oversight. Does this by attending all board meetings, events and all annual meetings; serving as a resource of knowledge to others on the board; taking on special assignments; seeking/providing financial donations; advocating for the organization.

We are seeking a board member who has an interest in ensuring healthcare access for all patients battling cancer, and helping us further our goals through innovative strategic planning.  

The Board supports the work of Apprentice Learning (AL) by overseeing the strategic governance of the organization, and by providing leadership, together with the Executive Director (ED), to further AL’s mission. Board commitment to, and involvement in, AL’s educational goals is critical to the organization’s success.

We are seeking new board members with an interest in community-based organizations, early childhood education, and youth enrichment services.
