The Board supports the work of Apprentice Learning (AL) by overseeing the strategic governance of the organization, and by providing leadership, together with the Executive Director (ED), to further AL’s mission. Board commitment to, and involvement in, AL’s educational goals is critical to the organization’s success.
We would welcome new board members onto any of our Committees. Our committees are: Development, Governance, Finance and Program.
The board secretary provides the board with required meeting notices, prepares agendas and provides guidance on proper meeting procedures. The board secretary takes minutes of the board meetings, or oversees the process and reviews and distributes approved minutes. The secretary maintains or oversees the maintenance of all board records and committee reports.
