Our organization benefits so much from having a board member with particular skills, expertise and interest in finance. Ensuring our financial security and success is critical to sustaining our mission.
This board member must be sufficiently familiar with legal documents and processes for non-profit organizations (articles, by-laws, IRS letters, etc.). They will assist FOH in legal matters, working closely our executive director to identify any legal risks and provide legal advise. We strongly encourage bilingual, bicultural, and POC candidates.
We are looking for passionate and entrepreneurial individuals to support One Family’s plans for growth and scale, with a particular focus on expanding our network of supporters and other stakeholders. Desired areas of expertise for future Board members includes (but is not limited to) Diversity/Inclusion and Finance.
Work with Board treasurer and other committee members to review monthly financial statements, consult on budget creation, receive/review audited financial statements, and consult on fiscal policy and management.
