Our board | Enroot is an 85-year-old organization on a mission to empower immigrant youth to achieve academic, career, and personal success through inspiring out-of-school experiences. The Board of Directors provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by Enroot’s Executive Director, the Board plays an essential role in organizational oversight, strategic & financial planning, development, and community engagement. |

Position | Join Enroot's Finance Committee, supporting and overseeing the financial operations of the agency and ensuring responsible fiscal stewardship of its resources. Supports the development of the budget and approves the annual budget. |

Requirements | Assisting in the creation of Enroot’s strategic plan and overseeing its successful execution Advancing Enroot’s work through service on one or more Board Committee: Executive, Program & Personnel, Development, Finance Approving Enroot’s annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions; being informed of, and meeting all, legal and fiduciary responsibilities Regularly evaluating Enroot’s performance and effectiveness using impact metrics Contributing to an annual performance evaluation of the Executive Director and Board |
