Board Member
Our board | Board members are expected to help with NOAH's base-building efforts; we are anxious to recruit Board members who are representative of our diverse constituency as well as those who add new skill sets to the Board. The Board meets up to 12 times a year on weeknights (generally Thursdays), and each Board member is expected to regularly attend every meeting. Each Board member is expected to help with fundraising efforts for NOAH through any number of activities, including potentially attending meetings with funders and/or securing sponsorship for our events, etc. NB: Each Board member is asked to participate in the decision when we hire a new Executive Director and is required to participate in the Executive Director's annual evaluation. Board members also are expected to vote on/approve the Annual Budget and to help in developing NOAH's business/strategic planning. |
