Our board | The 826 Boston Corporate Advisory Council will serve as an advisory group to the organization. Unlike the Board of Directors, it will not have legal or fiduciary obligations. In its first year, the Council will start as a small cohort that will inform the growth of the entity moving forward. Building 826 Boston’s base of corporate relationships and increasing support from the many thriving industries in the Boston area has long been a goal of the organization. Simultaneously, 826 Boston has found success in leveraging relationships to expand other areas of its work. Goals of the Corporate Advisory Council include: -Build new relationships and networks in the business community in Greater Boston -Establish a greater number of corporate partnerships for financial and volunteer support to enhance organizational sustainability -Expand beyond board members’ personal networks for fundraising -Raise visibility and increase awareness of 826 Boston |
