Our board | The Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The Board of Directors consists of a broad cross-section of people from different domains; elected every four years by the general assembly of community members or appointed by the President as stipulated in the by-laws. |

Requirements | Everyone who works with us, from our Board members to those who lend a helping hand during our parade, are unpaid volunteers. The source of their drive to volunteer is the passion they have for the community. We accept new volunteers on a regular basis and have a different set of volunteers serving with us at every event. Volunteers enjoy the privilege of attending an event for free, working alongside us, and free festival merchandise. Its board positions serve 2-4 years; it requires to be Latino but does not have to speak Spanish. We must commit to 2 hrs monthly for meetings and additional hours during events. The board will interview the candidates, and the board will vote. |

On-boarding | We will request a vetting processing and a two recommendation letters. |

Additional Info | Must attend 1 meeting a month via zoom and every 3 mos in person—fundraising to help with the operating of this festival. |
