Our board
Position Tailored for Success is seeking an individual to become an active Board member for its nonprofit corporation.  The Board consisting of 12-15 members is responsible for the overall business and charitable affairs of the corporation. In accordance with its bylaws, it manages, controls, and directs the financial and business affairs and property of the corporation. Meetings occur in person on a bi-monthly basis except for the summer months of July and August. The Board endeavors to recruit diverse Directors who are reflective of the community it serves and who possess the necessary skills to meet the corporation's and community's needs. The Board establishes direction, secures resources, and provides oversight for the corporation.

It is expected that Directors:

  • attend all board meetings as well as a majority of board functions and events and come prepared to contribute

  • serve as a resource of knowledge and counsel to the Executive Director and other board members

  • be an active, educated advocate

  • assist with recruitment of other board nominees and soliciting financial donations

  • be willing to serve on committees and take on special assignments

Donation Organization strives for 100% board giving, but have no strict guidelines around financial contributions.
Requirements
On-boarding Tailored For Success provides onboarding training for all its new Board members.
