Our board The board of Nurturing Minds, Inc. is committed to ensuring the sound management of organizational assets in the interest of achieving the organization’s mission to provide financial and technical support for quality secondary education to Tanzanian girls who are poor, marginalized, and at-risk of becoming involved in exploitative forms of child labor.
Position Nurturing Minds seeks enthusiastic board members who are passionate about girls' education to bring new ideas and provide a strong social network for fundraising.

Donation Organization requires a specific amount of “give or get” for all board members.
Requirements Become familiar with or is familiar with Tanzania and visit the SEGA Girls' School. Commit time to attend the annual board meetings (two 2-day-long meetings) and conference calls every 2 months, participate on a committee (e.g., communications, development, etc), fundraise by organizing events, soliciting donations, and networking, and seek to raise $10,000 per year through one’s network or personal contribution.

Nurturing Minds is a U.S. based non-profit whose mission is to provide financial and technical support to improve access to quality education and life skills to empower girls in Tanzania, with a particular emphasis on girls who are poor, marginalized, and at-risk of becoming involved in exploitative forms of child labor.
