Our board Sportsmen's board and committee members should share a commitment to improving life outcomes for youth and families in Boston's inner city, particularly along the Blue Hill Corridor. They should grasp the importance of sports-based youth development, and of addressing the needs of the whole child, and in the same manner, the whole adult as it pertains to under-resourced adults, families and communities.
Position We are seeking board members for the following committees:

1) Academic and Social Wellness Program Evaluation Committee
2) Development Committee
3) Marketing Committee
4) Human Resources and Governance Committee
5) Facilities Management Committee
6) Tennis Programs Committee

Commitment 1 to 3 hours/month
Donation We strive for 100% board giving, but have no strict guidelines around financial contributions.
Requirements As a priority, additional members are sought who can contribute to Sportsmen's interests in: expanding its visibility into new markets using social media; measuring the impact of its educational programs; identifying and engaging major donors; and improving and expanding its physical plan, and ensuring that its policies and procedures are consistent with current legal requirements.
